You might think that you want your loss back.
But actually you don't need it anymore.
You might think that everyday life is just the same.
But that's because you work hard
for your stable life.
If you look at a ring from above
It appears to be square.

Let's go slow.
Look back to early childhood
when we were barely able to walk,
in early girlhood when we could find
the courage to say "Sorry",
or in early life when we harbor doubts
about adults and got up the nerve to them.
We've been going through this and that, haven't we?
If we look at things on a lower level
with our eyes once again,
we might relive something important.

Since the life goal is so far away,
I set a finish-line tape
from place to place.
Even as I see the goal right over there,
it's so hard to reach it.
I get parched with thirst and have heavy feet.
Then I hear the voice calling me over there.
Is it possibly a mirage?
Even so, I would move on as far as
the dazzling smile of sun flowers
are waiting for me.

As I turned over the calendar,
The pure blue of summer has jumped out of it.
It seems things are picking up lately.
Maybe it is the patience paying off.
Or just for the ring of "July".

Drip-drop, plop, plash, drip-drop, plop, plash...
The heavy rain washes the rising heat, dust and mote down to the ground.
Also, my cobweb and fume
become heavily moist and slip into the ground.
The raindrops rattle on housetops and run off to the ground
singing "drip-drop, plop, plash, drip-drop, plop, plash..."
It sounds like a soothing voice saying "You're right."
